About Membership
Why Join COG?
Canadian Organic Growers has been bringing farmers, gardeners and consumers together for over 30 years. Membership fees and donations support our work in a big way.
COG's New Membership Model:
COG is moving to a donations-based membership model, which means that we welcome people from all financial backgrounds to become members. Please consider supporting us at the level you can afford.
Membership fees are shared with the chapters (chapters receive 40% of all gifts from chapter members). The national portion of your gift is used to support COG’s core costs (audit fees, rent, The Canadian Organic Grower, COG’s website and e-newsletter and core services such as bookkeeping and office management). To see how COG spends its money, check out our latest financial statements.
There are now 3 levels of regular membership: Roots, Shoots and Mighty Oak, as well as the corporate membership and joint ACORN membership options. Please consult the list below to determine which level best suits your needs as a COG member.
Regular Membership, 1 year:
Roots: less than $35

Corporate Membership - $100 for 1 year:

Joint Membership with ACORN - $65 for 1 year:
The same benefits as Shoots Members plus:
