New COG Project Coordinator
COG-Essex/Kent/Lambton is pleased to announce that as of April 1st 2009, Chris White will be taking on the position of Project and Membership Coordinator. Chris was born and raised in Former Harwich township on the 100 acre farm his father purchased in the early 1970’s. He is a graduate of Queen's University, Kingston. He has been working in the Ag. sector for the last 10 years, with experience on beef, cash crop and vegetable farms. His own on-farm activities include fresh market veggies and seed growing (organic practices but not certified), on the farm he grew up on, where he also has experience raising poultry (chicken, eggs, turkey, duck).
Chris is married to Addie Joanne White (nee Van Praet) and is the father of 2 children (Grace 3, Hannah 1) and is expecting a 3rd child in July 09. You can contact Chris at: cogelk@hotmail.com or 519-676-2885.

Chapter meetings are held bi-monthly, year round.
We have many interesting speakers and really great pot luck suppers--the public and guests are always welcome. We can provide speakers for most of your functions with advance notice from interested groups. We are always looking for new members and volunteers.
